NPI Studios provides ongoing editorial support for Alpha Responder Network, shaping real-world law-enforcement field footage into focused documentary episodes built around clarity, pacing and narrative progression.
A typical edit starts with roughly 2–8 hours of footage from three cameras. The job is to find the episode inside that material—identify the strongest encounters and character moments, establish context, preserve continuity and condense everything into a coherent 15–30 minute finished story.

The edit
Finding the episode inside hours of reality.
Each episode begins as hours of overlapping, unscripted coverage. The editorial job is to find the throughline, preserve the context and shape a clear progression without manufacturing one.
Story selection
Review hours of field material and identify the encounters, developments and character moments capable of carrying the episode.
Narrative structure
Build a clear beginning, escalation and resolution while staying faithful to events that were never scripted for the camera.
Multicamera continuity
Work across three camera sources to preserve key moments, maintain spatial and conversational continuity and choose the strongest available coverage.
Pacing & clarity
Condense lengthy real-world encounters without stripping away the context an audience needs to understand what is happening.
Brand integration
Integrate ARN's established pre-made titles, graphics and other branded assets into the finished episode, along with light color matching where needed.
Collaborative revisions
Work directly with producers and other editors through review rounds, notes and final revisions, typically delivering within two weeks and sometimes within one.
